Los Angeles Women's Lacrosse, LLC, was founded in 2009 by Juliet Mittlemann and Alison Brittain. The two founders wanted a way to bring more opportunities for women's lacrosse in the Southern California area. Thus, Los Angeles Women's Lacrosse, LLC, was founded. LAWL exists to promote developmental and advanced women's lacrosse by hosting clinics, leagues, travel teams, and other facets of lacrosse training/playing.

At LAWL, we stress not only the importance of competition and hard work, but also of sportsmanship and respect. It is our belief that the sport of lacrosse exists to foster healthy teammate relationships and respect for one's opponent, on top of building physical strength and promoting overall health.
